31 trades

A small business answering service that knows your trade

One engine, configured. What changes per trade is the questions it asks, when it treats a call as urgent, and the lines it will not cross — which is why there are 31 of these pages and not one product per trade.

Your trade isn't on the list

Then it is a configuration rather than a wait. The agent's goal, its questions, its call types, its urgency rules and its guardrails are all data — the same product answers for a clinic, a courier, a tutor or a property manager. Tell it what to ask and what never to say, and it answers your phone.

How it works

The same three steps, in every trade

What changes per trade is the questions in the middle step. The shape does not.

01

It answers

On the second ring, at 2am, on a Sunday, while you are already under a sink or with a patient. One number, no menu.

02

It understands

It classifies the call before it qualifies it — a supplier, a robocall and a new job are not the same conversation — then asks your trade's own questions.

03

It books

Into the calendar you already keep, against the capacity actually left in the window, and texts the customer a confirmation before they hang up.

Safety

What it will never do, in any trade

The questions change per trade. These do not — they are the rules every agent runs under, whatever it is answering for.

It never invents a price

It states the call-out fee and the rates you configured, and nothing else. Where it does not know, it says so and brings it to you rather than guessing — a number said on the phone is a number you are held to at the door.

What it actually says

“I'm not going to guess at the repair before someone's seen it — you'd only be annoyed if I got it wrong.”

It never promises an hour it cannot keep

Work in the field is booked in windows, because a specific time is a promise the traffic breaks. It offers the window that actually has capacity left, and it will not invent one to end the call politely.

What it actually says

“I can do Tuesday morning, between eight and twelve — I won't give you an exact hour and have you waiting in all day.”

It never sends anyone to voicemail

If the transfer ladder runs out and nobody accepts, it takes the details, commits to a specific callback window and flags it. A beep is the one outcome worse than not answering at all.

What it actually says

“I can't reach anyone this minute, so let me take the details and someone will call you back before nine tomorrow.”

FAQ

The questions that come before the trade

What the product does in every one of these trades, and what it refuses to do in all of them.

Is this a different product for each trade?

No, one engine, configured. The agent's goal, the questions it asks, the call types it recognises, its urgency rules and its guardrails are all data on your account. That is why there are 31 of these pages rather than 31 products, and why a trade that is not listed is a configuration rather than a wait.

What happens to a call it cannot handle?

It tries you, then a second number, then whoever is on call — each leg accepted by pressing 1, so a voicemail box cannot swallow the call by answering first. If nobody accepts, it takes the details and commits to a callback window. It never sends anyone to voicemail.

Will it quote a price?

It states the call-out fee and the rates you configured, and nothing else. It will not price a repair nobody has seen, and it will not promise an exact hour — field work is booked in windows because a specific time is a promise the traffic breaks.

Does it book into my real calendar?

Google, Outlook, Apple, Exchange or CalDAV — whichever you already keep — against the capacity actually left in each window. A booking it cannot fit is one it does not make.

Am I billed for robocalls?

No. Spam is classified as spam, zero-rated, and never becomes a customer record. It is also the majority of what arrives out of hours, which is when a per-call answering service is most expensive.

Does it make outbound calls?

No. Everything here is inbound. Outbound campaigns bring TCPA obligations with them and are deliberately not part of this product.
